Honey Cocktails – The Ned hotel shakes up a honey cocktail storm!

We’ve teamed up with the award-winning Head of Bars at The Ned hotel in London, Dan Berger who took our British, raw, artisan honey and has shaken up a storm to create these remarkable cocktails with honey at their heart, using the honey from The Ned’s beehive, which we look after here on our farm…

Dan won the illustrious title of “Bombay Sapphire World’s Most Imaginative Bartender” in 2015 and we couldn’t think of anyone better to handle our honey. Let us know which is your favourite!

 

Hunny’s Lemonade

You’ll Need:

Honey, lemon, lime, soda water

40ml honey water (3 parts honey, 1 part water)

20ml fresh lemon juice

20ml fresh lime juice

100ml with soda water

Build in a highball glass with ice.

Served in a highball glass with a ginger candy garnish.

Apricot Fix

You’ll Need:

Woodford Reserve, Chartreuse, apricot, lime, sage honey

35ml Woodford Reserve

10ml Apricot liqueur

5ml Green Chartreuse

25ml Fresh lime juice

15ml sage infused honey water (3 parts honey, 1 part water, infused with fresh sage)

Build in a rocks glash and churn with crushed ice.

Garnish with dried apricot and 2 fresh sage leaves.

Banana Bees Knees

You’ll Need:

Star of Bombay, banana, lemon, orange bitters, Champagne

30ml Star of Bombay

10ml Banane du Bresil liqueur

20ml Fresh lemon juice

20ml honey water (3 parts honey, 1 part water)

3 dash orange bitters

50ml Champagne

Shake lightly with ice then strain into a coupe, top with the Champagne.

Garnish with a fresh orange zest.
